Tonight I wanted to do something easy and fast to get some time to prepare the luggage. It is almost Christmas! So I turned to my macro lens to do the work for me. To smooth the reflection in the shadow below the ball I just wet the table with a bit of water.

And when it snows in NYC, next day you just go to Central Park along with 10K other people. And that’s what we did (after some mandatory Christmas shopping, of course). It was beautiful, specially once you start to wander the little paths full of snow that detract tourists without proper snow shoes.

The storm hit New York City. It has been snowing non-stop since this afternoon and it doesn’t seem  like it wants to stop. Two shots from my window, the first (photo of the day) from the “typical” fire stairs with the neighboring building int he background. The second from the street itself, abandoned, lonesome.

I spent almost an hour in the freezing cold trying to capture the traffic jam in the corner. I have to say, too many selfish drivers, total chaos, 1% cars with snow tires or chains. It happens that right were I live there is a small “hill” and all cars and buses were just not making it. The air smelled all to burned tires. Anyway, not my problem.
