Turtle Town
Guarded by ancient lava fingers, Turtle Town in Maui was supposed to be, well, a town full of turtles. I only managed to see three of them, but this one was gigantic.

Today was a long working day, going out of the lab at 11:30pm, I just didn’t have time to take any photo for today’s post. But since I got a few questions about the whales sights, I thought I would post about another whale sight from a few years ago, while in Argentina. That time we didn’t see as many whales as in Cape Cod, but being the boats smaller (or whatever) we did get much closer to them. One of them even got curious about us and came close to “say hello” (see video). At that time we were also able to see them come close to the beach to “rub their back” (see photo).
