Holding the star
Variations on an old theme: pushing the star, and now I present Holding the star. This time, to make a more interesting portrait of our friend I used a lensbaby, instead of a moving star.
Second place
I got fantastic news today in the mail. I have been selected as the second prize winner in a contest organized by B&H. Some of you might remember my previous post about the Lensbaby. That day I attended a Lensbaby workshop at the B&H Event Space and after some lectures and presentation of the Lensbaby system, each participant borrowed a Lensbaby and we all got to Times Square to snap, snap, snap pictures. We were given a list with 15 topics to shoot for about 3 hours before we had to return “our” Lensbabies back. After 1 month of anxious waiting, finally the results of the contest is here and I got second place, yeah!
Well, thanks B&H for giving us the opportunity to try out these lenses, it certainly was a lot of fun. And congratulations to the winner, Rue LeClaire, and third place, Joe Josephs.
Other images from the contest can be seen at the B&H Event Space Flickr group and my own can be seen in Flickr photostream.
