Almost everybody knows the rule of thirds, and some go even further and employ it, but there are other ways for creating a good composition. One that I particularly like is the use of repetition in some elements. A rather uninteresting scene can be converted into a nice photograph by the use of repetition. This is the case, by my taste anyway, of this photograph. By the way you can find parking garages like this all over Manhattan, always with lots of announcements and signal and always full.
